We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Accounts Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key national accounts within the pharmaceutical sector. Additionally, this role will involve leading and managing a team of Key Accounts Managers and Sales Representatives across the country, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives and strategies. This position requires a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective account management strategies. Job responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth within national accounts. Lead and manage a team of Key Accounts Managers and Sales Representatives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive performance and achieve sales objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, purchasing managers, and decision-makers at national pharmacy chains, wholesalers, and other relevant organizations. Identify and capitalize on business opportunities within national accounts, including new product launches, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of account strategies. Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for growth. Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and supply agreements with national accounts to optimize profitability and ensure long-term partnerships. Monitor and track sales performance, market share, and account profitability, providing regular updates and reports to senior management. Qualifications and Requirements::

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in national account management or key account management roles. In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and healthcare trends. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve sales goals and objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets. Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
