Main Purpose of the Role Your primary responsibility is to generate new business revenue and profit within a designated geographical territory and/or target sector, aligning with the Group Sales & Marketing Strategy. You will also be tasked with account managing specific, nominated regional customers, fostering strong relationships across their organizations. These relationships aim to drive additional revenue and profit from existing customers, further supporting the Group’s strategic objectives. In this role, you will be expected to meet all agreed targets, adhering to the Group Budget and Sales Activity plans. Additionally, you will act as a brand ambassador for NSS, consistently promoting the company to customers, competitors, and colleagues, ensuring a positive and professional representation of the NSS brand at all times. Your job will includes: Proactively generate sales activity to meet and exceed new business targets. Implement strategic sales and account development plans in collaboration with the Group Commercial Director. Secure new business and drive growth within designated sectors or territories. Prepare and deliver accurate bids, tenders, and proposals with support from the Sales Support team. Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, leveraging these to grow accounts. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery and maximize account potential. Maintain detailed and timely reports of sales activity, prospects, and pipelines using the CRM system. Promote best practices and continuous improvement to position NSS as an industry leader. Support the development of the NSS brand, showcasing a commitment to safety, quality, and excellence. Present management information to customers and assist operations in meeting their expectations. Requirements of the role: A-Level education with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience in Sales or Account Development, ideally within Facilities Services or related sectors. Strong understanding of complex organizations and ability to create growth-focused account plans. Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercially aware with a profit-driven mindset. Resilient, results-focused, and skilled in building strong customer and internal relationships. Able to identify market trends and propose strategies for success. Positive, collaborative approach and a strong work ethic. Full driving license required.
