We are seeking an experienced

National Sales Manager

to join our client with ambitious growth plans. Their Head offices are based in

Doncaster , but this role will be out on the road nationally. This is an active, hands-on sales role while managing a team of external BDMs. You will lead their sales team, drive revenue growth, and strengthen their market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and executing sales strategies and a proven track record of achieving ambitious targets.

Ideally, you will have experience in selling to national house builders and major contractors. Key Responsibilities:

Build, coach, manage, and maintain a team of sales professionals. Devise, develop, and execute the sales strategy. Seek out major clients and forge strong working relationships. Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior management. Pipeline Management: Ensure the team maintains a strong and consistent sales pipeline while tracking progress and ensuring we are always closing the deals. Reporting & Analysis: Track team performance using KPIs and sales metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and adjusting strategies based on data insights. Joint Client Visits: Accompany the Key Accounts Manager on joint sales calls and client meetings to the companies ‘Major’ accounts, to support and enhance these key customer relationships. Requirements

Proven experience in a sales leadership role with a track record of delivering results and driving growth. Must be hands-on in proactive selling. Must be highly analytical and data-driven. Experience selling to construction and preferably national house builders. Proven track record of delivering on goals and targets. Location

This role has a nationwide remit so applicants will be considered across the UK. However, the preferred candidate will be able to commit to a minimum of one day a month at the Head Office in Doncaster. Benefits

Salary: £65,000 to £85,000 – negotiable depending on experience. Car or Car Allowance. Laptop. Phone. Realistic and Generous bonus scheme.
