This is a critically important role and core team member of UK, Ireland and Nordic Healthcare Systems and Technologies. Ultimately leading the tactical and operational daily activities of the Safe Patient Handling (SPH) sales team and driving the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the attainment of focused objectives and targets. This team comprises of direct sales managers and distributor managers. Lead our SPH team to achieve balanced sales growth with existing customers and generate new business. What you'll do: Develop and implement annual sales plans, goals and objectives for the sales team Provide leadership, guidance and motivation to achieve sales targets Hire, train, lead and retain top talent to ensure team success Analyse sales data, market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth Lead and handle the account planning process for individual Account Managers aligned to the strategic marketing plan Foster and maintain valuable relationships with key customers and partners to ensure ongoing business and identify new opportunities Collaborate with marketing, tech services, therapy partners, finance etc. to align sales strategies with company objectives Conduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs and provide coaching, mentoring & feedback Monitor sales activity and pipeline, forecast sales revenue and report regularly on sales performance to senior management Develop and negotiate contracts/agreements with clients Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge Act as change agent through the organization to instil agility and ability to re-invent the way we operate internally and externally. What we need from you: At least 5 years as a leader in Medtech industry, whereof minimum 2 years in sales management. Strong communicator and change management skills, based on open and inclusive values. Track record of leading transformation and growth Ability to deal with ambiguity and flexibility to quickly adapt to change. Strong planning skills with a structured work pattern. Result driven, accountable and a growth mindset. Resilience and positivity; responds well to setbacks and shows leadership by proactively encouraging and motivating peers. A high curiosity about leadership development, self-awareness and seeks to improve. Team focused; values various skills, styles and contributions of others and actively asks for feedback. Strong analytical skills with experience in commercial excellence, tender/contract management, pricing strategy. Proficient in CRM and BI tools Proven ability to lead in a matrix organization, engaging and influencing sales team and functional partners.
