National Technical Trainer (field based)

to train internal employees (Service Engineers and others) on their product portfolio regarding the operation, assembly, and maintenance of equipment. This is a customer-facing role aimed at training and developing internal employees to equip them with product knowledge and experience, enabling them to deliver effective service to external customers. Salary:

£35k - £40k depending on experience. PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF: You are happy to travel to various sites across the UK (possibly with some overnight stays). You drive and have your own transport, with a full clean driving license. You have at least 3 years of experience in a training role. Main Responsibilities: Nationwide travel and time away from home on a regular basis. Customer product training. Mentor current and new employees on a 1-2-1 basis on site and in-house. Ensure compliance with all industry standards. Create training videos/literature to assist field-based employees and internal teams. Monitor individuals' training records and upskill as required. Process training documents and keep individuals' records up to date. Conduct induction training for new employees. Create new procedures. Bring new ideas and always look to improve procedures. Competencies: A minimum of 3 years in a senior training position. Excellent communication skills. Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office 365. Ability to work alone and as part of a team. Great people skills, confident and engaging approach to training. Professional, personable, and adaptable in your approach and attitude. The ability to understand the audience and adapt training as required. Ability to challenge appropriately and build relationships. Enthusiastic, positive, and motivated approach. Willingness to travel and work away regularly. Organised and structured. This role would suit someone with experience in a similar position, such as: Product Trainer, Training Specialist, Training Consultant, Subject Matter Expert, Product Training Coordinator, Regional Trainer, National Trainer, Mentor, Learning & Development Manager, Training Manager, or similar training role.
