Our client, a leading Commercial and Project Management Advisory Service to Water & Environment clients, is seeking experienced NEC Project Managers to join their team on a permanent basis with hybrid and remote working. In this role, you will work closely with clients in the Water, Environment, and Rail sectors, managing complex projects from inception to completion. As an integral part of end client teams, you will provide expert guidance on NEC contract management and project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The client is Reigate based but roles will be UK wide embedded with local end clients. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full lifecycle of projects, including scope definition, planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to NEC contracts. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project teams, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication throughout the project. Provide advice and recommendations on contract matters, risk management, and dispute resolution within the context of NEC contract frameworks. Monitor and manage project progress, budgets, and timelines, identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues. Oversee the preparation and submission of reports, documentation, and contract variations, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client representatives, delivering successful project outcomes that align with client objectives. Support project teams with technical and commercial advice, offering expert solutions to project challenges. Ensure continuous professional development and stay updated on industry best practices and changes in NEC contract management. Key Skills and Experience Extensive experience in managing projects under NEC contracts (essential). Proven background in managing projects within the Water, Environment, or Rail sectors (desirable). Ideally chartered - civil discipline (CIWEM, MICE etc) Strong understanding of commercial project management principles and practices. Experience working either client-side or in a consultancy environment (preferred). Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APM) are advantageous. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to hybrid working arrangements.
