Responsibilities
Build and install roofing systems according to specifications and schematics.
Perform repairs on existing roofs, ensuring quality workmanship.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Fabricate roofing materials as needed for specific projects.
Conduct masonry work related to roofing installations.
Weld and plumb components as required for structural integrity.
Assist in heavy lifting tasks during the installation and removal of roofing materials.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Skills
Proficiency in building and roofing techniques.
Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing work.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for roofing projects.
Knowledge of masonry practices is advantageous.
Welding skills are a plus for certain roofing applications.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
