Neighbourhood Officer Hybrid Homeworking (office base Norwich) Full time, 37 hours a week, Monday – Friday Starting Salary at £34,009 per annum, with future progression opportunities to £36,178, plus Essential Car User Allowance of £4,267 per annum Permanent Contract About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our team. The role requires a candidate who is customer-focused, able to establish positive relationships both internally and externally, and has the ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload. Main Duties: To deliver tenancy and estate management services for the Association. To provide allocation of letting empty homes and management of mutual exchanges. Anti-social case management. Working closely with our Tenancy Support Team and Income Recovery team. Working with professional and voluntary agencies in the development of good neighbourhood relations. To work with professional agencies to safeguard vulnerable adults and children. To support tenants through major works at one of our schemes. About You The successful candidate will have: Minimum of 5 GCSE’s, including Maths & English Language (Grade C/Level 4) or equivalent. Knowledge of tenancy agreements, housing legislation and welfare benefits. Experience of multi-agency/ partnership working and experience working with customers face to face. Excellent communication skills, a positive outlook and a can-do attitude. A driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential as travel throughout Norfolk will be required and the candidate will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
