The Role:
This role will focus on their finance team, which is embarking on the exciting journey of building a new product designed to enhance performance and drive results for investment companies. As a .Net Technical Lead, you will spearhead the technical direction of this new product, working collaboratively with a dynamic team of engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a ground-up project with the backing of a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of a new finance-focused product for investment performance optimisation.
- Define and implement technical strategies and best practices for the product lifecycle.
- Architect scalable and secure solutions using .Net technologies.
- Mentor and guide the development team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and alignment with business goals.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a .Net Technical Lead or Senior Developer with leadership responsibilities.
- Expertise in .Net Core, C#, and cloud-based development (Azure preferred).
- Strong understanding of database systems such as SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience in developing scalable and high-performance applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous exposure to the financial or investment sectors is a plus.
- Experience with React and Typescript is a bonus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Must be based in the UK and have the right to work (no visa sponsorship).
