Part time/ Permanent (10-12 hours per week) Scale point 23 - 29 (£28,741 - £34,313) pro rata An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oaklands for an Assistant Netball Academy Coach to provide added value to our Participation and Performance guided programme. The Oaklands Education group is a vibrant and diverse learning centred community, providing transformational education for over 100 years. We are internationally renowned for our Oaklands Wolves sports academies, where sporting and academic excellence are given equal importance. It is our ambition to train and develop athletes throughout their sporting career whether that is for wellbeing reasons or competitive sport at the highest elite level. We are looking for an experienced Netball Coach to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting and developing the programme. In this position, you will coach sessions and attend fixtures across 2/3 teams and support our athletes in individual as well as team development. You will also be responsible for regular athlete feedback and building and maintaining positive team culture. Minimum Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 or above Netball Coaching qualification and experience of over two years coaching in a club or performance environment. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience of Netball coaching outside of a school is essential, along with a commitment to providing a high-quality Netball athlete experience. Skills and Experience: Self-Motivated Team Player An awareness of cultural diversity Positive, enthusiastic and a 'can do' attitude Flexible work ethos to meet Academy needs Professional outlook and appearance Athlete Centred Level 1, 2 or 3 Coaching Qualification 2 Years minimum Coaching Experience in Club/Pathway or above Excellent 'individual skills' coaching ability Any additional qualification within Strength and Conditioning, Sports Science, Sports Nutrition, Sports Psychology will be a great addition to delivery but not essential.
