Network Designer

Function: Architecture Solution and Design Unit: Business Location: UK Wide, United Kingdom Your day-to-day role is to design and deliver solutions for BT’s customers. Your design work will specialize in one of three distinct disciplines: network solutions, voice solutions, or contact centre solutions. Our customers are generally external customers, so you will be recognized with that enhanced level of visibility and responsibility. You’ll be working as part of a dedicated team that spans the globe. As a design specialist, you’ll be responsible for delivering medium to large designs and collaborating with your colleagues to deliver to our customers while explaining complex technical solutions succinctly. What you’ll be doing

You will contribute to technical discussions within the team, leading others towards a better understanding and encouraging a dialogue to improve the design principles used in the team. As a design specialist, you will promote what we do and understand the customers’ needs to provide relevant solutions. Continually challenge yourself, question current processes, and manage our changes to work efficiently. Provide deep technical knowledge in a simple manner to our customers. Manage the risks associated with your designs and drive a technology direction. Skills we'd like to see on your CV

In-depth experience of designing and deploying Cisco Wireless LAN solutions. Experience with Meraki. Accountable for end-to-end technical solution delivery of solution DCMs to time, cost, and quality. Benefits of working for BT include:
