The Service Provision team helps build BT’s biggest and fastest network. Within Service Provision, you will be responsible for the delivery of crucial elements of projects such as the replacement of the UK’s Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) with a fully digital network. On a daily basis, you will liaise with field engineers and other key stakeholders within the business. We are piloting innovative automation and AI initiatives that will change the way we work as a team. You will be a problem solver and part of a team that develops solutions for real-world programmes. It is an extremely varied role that will allow you to work on several areas of the network, developing skills and capabilities to support your personal growth and the BT Network Goals. You’ll work on key projects for National Critical Infrastructure, providing the network that keeps the nation safe and protected. Our commitments with Ofcom mean we have to be sensitive with the information we share and who we share it with; you’ll work with integrity and mindfulness to ensure we remain compliant. Our hybrid working model means you are expected to be in the office 3 days per week. This role is based in our Birmingham office. You'll have the following responsibilities

Providing technical network knowledge to design, test, platform, and operational teams. Have a working knowledge of the 21C network. Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to explore opportunities for partnership. Use technical knowledge to support design, configuration, testing, and delivery. Also propose improvements to processes and implementations on team equipment and networks. Represent BT to vendors and drive for solutions to technical problems. Ensure the technical integrity of assigned project deliverables. These activities will include analysis and decomposition of requirements, designs, development of new methodologies, reporting, and volume tracking. Contribute to the implementation of key strategies and transformation activities in the team. Adhere to all team processes, such as Jira updates, timesheets, and team best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in projects and complete customer requests. Execute the implementation of complex change in line with change management best practices and the associated governance. Manage stakeholder and demand expectations through cross-area engagement. Develop technical capability through continued learning and use of Tech Pathways, managing own development, upskilling, and multiskilling proactively in line with unit strategy. Ensure interactions with customers and colleagues are respectful and courteous, representing BT in a professional way. Champion the use of automated tools, continually improving these tools and reducing the amount of fallouts and manual touch time, always seeking to improve, and work in line with standardized processes and procedures. You are authorized to access, use, or disclose customer information only when you need to do so to perform your operational duties. You will be confident and professional in communicating with all stakeholders, both locally and with members of the Senior Management Team. You will have extensive experience of network technologies and protocols within your native domain. You will have awareness of the E2E service journey. You will be able to adapt to emerging and evolving technologies, in line with Tech Pathways role mapping. Provision of E2E management, delivery, and cessation of Cable-link products, including associated tasks. You'll have the following skills and experience

Skills A good knowledge/understanding of the 21CN Network. Working in line with processes and procedures. Good stakeholder management. Subject matter expert in relation to the project you are assigned to. Continuous contribution towards the improvement of projects, proactive driving of complex issues, and great communications with key stakeholders and colleagues. Experience Experience of network technologies and protocols. Awareness of the E2E service journey. Effective communication skills. Stakeholder management. Proficient in adapting to multiple workstreams. Experience in Network Integration/engineering (preferred). Quality and delivery management (preferred). Benefits
