Role: Network Engineer IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Location: Hereford (Full-time on-site) Contract Length: Until April 2025 Experience: Minimum of 3 years supporting complex Campus Area Networks (CAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) Essential Security Clearance: DV Clearance Essential IP Cryptography: Experience in configuring and administrating IP cryptography Desirable Linux OS: Experience with Linux operating systems, command line interface, network logging, and analysis tools (e.g., PRTG, Solar Winds, Splunk) Desirable Network Support Tools: Familiarity with Splunk or Elastic for network support, including searching, navigating, and creating reports, alerts, and dashboards Desirable Key Responsibilities: Technical Competency: Demonstrate advanced technical skills in network engineering, including troubleshooting, configuration, and management of CAN and WAN. Supporting Production Networks: Provide comprehensive support for production networks, ensuring high availability and performance. Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, under military management, to meet project goals and deadlines. Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels (both internal and external) with professionalism and clear communication. Security Clearance: Must hold active DV (Developed Vetting) clearance. UK EYES ONLY Sole UK Nationals Only. Technical Expertise: Proven technical expertise in network engineering and support.
