Business group:

Global Network Engineering – Maintenance. The Bank’s Maintenance Network Services team is responsible for level 3 support and service provisioning on premise Data Centres and the Cloud, supporting the digital transformation of the Bank’s global network. We follow best practices and are involved in end-to-end network connectivity and solutioning for data centre network services, campus and remote office integrations, as well as perimeter security network technologies. Project:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join an exciting team with high visibility and will explore a variety of network technologies. Typical Day in Role:

Reporting to a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting various technologies within our Global Network. Responsibilities include:

Participating in rotational on-call duties and after-hours project deployments. Working with leading edge technologies to incorporate complex network solutions. Providing hands-on support during mid to complex project deployments. Solving complex problems in time-sensitive situations to minimize system downtime. Understanding the Bank’s risk appetite and culture in day-to-day activities. Driving the adoption of software-defined Data Centre technologies like Cisco ACI and VMWare NSX. Engaging with the Public Cloud environments (e.g., GCP, Microsoft Azure, IBM SoftLayer). Implementing and managing firewall policies/rules and infrastructures. Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

10 years of experience in managing large-scale enterprise networks. 3 years of experience in firewall administration (Cisco Firepower, FTD & Fortinet). 3 years of experience in Cloud technologies (Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon). Nice-To-Have Skills:

Experience in Algosec. Spanish language skills. Fortinet NSE 4 or associated certification. Soft Skills Required:

Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills. Strong decision-making and creative problem-solving skills. Ability to work as part of a team or independently. Stress and time management skills. Education:

Fortinet NSE 4 or associated certification desirable. Best VS. Average Candidate:

Experience in Firewall rules, administration, configuration (migration), and GCP, Azure, or AWS. The candidate will implement firewall policies/rules and manage firewall cluster infrastructures. Candidate Review & Selection:
