£55,000 – £60,000 per annum Cooper Lomaz have partnered once again with a global business to source an experienced Network Engineer to join their team. As a global business, they are always looking to grow and progress with capabilities, but also the capabilities of their team.

This position has come through the growth of the team within the business.

The role is fully office-based and will require the candidate to have experience working with Cisco Networks. Role Overview: As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing network software and hardware, providing onsite support and troubleshooting faults related to the networks. You will be reporting to the Network Manager who oversees multiple sites, so you will be the main point of contact. Role Responsibilities: Support and develop networks, LAN, WAN, and Wireless LAN connections. Data Centres and Virtual Environments monitoring. Troubleshoot and provide support related to site-wide networks. Play a pivotal role in the analysis and performance of the networks and network traffic. Implement network changes, adhering to the company-wide procedures. Be familiar with Disaster Recovery procedures, and ensure you are regularly kept aware of changes within the business. Skills: Experience working with Cisco Networks is essential, holding a CCNA or higher. Experience of working with onsite/local networks is essential. Experience working with virtual environments or VMware is desirable. Knowledge or experience working to ITIL. Cisco Nexus experience is extremely desirable. Proven background of supporting networks onsite. Experience working in a corporate or industrial environment is beneficial. Salary & Location: £55,000 – £60,000 DOE + bonus This role is fully office-based and will require the candidate to have access to their own transport, due to the location of the office. This position is a Monday – Friday role, covering 37.5 hours per week. On-call may be required from time to time. Think you’re a good match? – Apply Now!
