Coordinating and managing the operations of the pallet network team to ensure efficient freight movement; Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with hubs and depots within the network; Monitoring performance metrics to ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded; Ensuring adequate cover is provided across all areas of the department, including drivers, vehicles, and the office team; Resolving customer, depot, and driver queries or delivery issues promptly and effectively; Overseeing operations to ensure all drivers adhere to administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations; Using various platforms and software to efficiently record and access information; Quickly identifying and resolving problems as they arise; Producing and monitoring KPIs to effectively manage the team and overall operation. As a crucial link between Browns and the Palletline Network, you'll be... Experienced in managing the complexities of a team within a Pallet Network environment; Confident in working independently and solving day-to-day operational challenges; Skilled in vehicle planning to achieve operational efficiency; Proactive in managing and addressing challenges effectively; An excellent communicator with strong telephone skills and the ability to empathise with customers; Computer literate, with a solid understanding of MS Office; Diligent, with exceptional attention to detail; A quick learner who can adapt and implement changes as needed. Have experience of working with/for a Pallet Network (min. 2 years); Have experience of managing a team (min. 2 years). What’s in it for you?
