Network Planner
to manage and optimize the operational network by analysing real-time data and forecasting end-to-end network performance. You will be accountable for: Assisting the Network Planning Manager and International Planning Team in implementing planning requirements, including forecasting, monitoring, and improving the entire parcel process from Hub to delivery. Understanding Evri network operating windows and processes to create accurate planning and service monitoring data for Hubs, depots, and the wider network. Producing daily reports on volume, service level analysis, and resource requirements. Compiling and publishing weekly/monthly reports on network status, performance, and compliance for distribution within Operations from Director level and below. Managing the network according to plan across the entire supply chain, from client collection onwards. Analysing Hubs/Depot processing data and considering planning constraints, such as Parcel Machine throughputs and performance. Monitoring Forecast versus Actual Performance results, providing accurate information to Hubs and Depots to optimize labour and asset utilization, and training stakeholders on the practical use of this information. Proactively identifying activity changes within the Evri network, adapting planning, and reviewing Hubs, Depot, and wider network activities for changes and events such as bank holidays, peak plans, and product changes. Utilizing historical data and collaborating with Hubs, Depots, and the wider network to instil a culture of continuous improvement, reducing costs, and enhancing process planning accuracy. Escalating findings to the appropriate operational areas, advising on the impact of non-action, and recommending resolutions while working with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. Hosting daily network conference calls with Managers and Senior Managers across Depot, Field, and Customer services, questioning performance and escalating issues to prevent future failures. Supporting the delivery of the annual Peak plan across the network. To be successful in this role you will require the following: Working knowledge of systems used within Evri, BI, MI and SAP. PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office (strong Excel user) - SQL and VBA desirable. An understanding of the Evri operation. Numerate self-starter with excellent data interpretation and analytical capabilities. Understanding of the Lean and other process improvement methodology. Strong and confident communication skills at all levels of the organisation. Highly credible and able to influence and win the confidence of others. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a high-pressure environment, establishing effective working relationships at all levels. Flexible approach to work.
