Network Security Engineer for a 6-month contract based in the bank’s London-Canary Wharf office on a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home. Provide technical oversight of the Zero Trust programme with an emphasis on requirements, architecture, design, use cases, vendor selection and the security posture of the solution. Support Network Security Pillar lead. Extensive experience in the design, migration and utilisation of Zero Trust based services and platforms with a high emphasis on security posture and enablement. Ensure architecture and subsequent designs (HLD and LLD) are well vetted. Understanding of technology risk concepts, including controls and control frameworks, technology risk domains, risk measurements and methodologies in line with TDI technology risk management but specific to the business of operation DB’s global network in a globally consistent way. Analyze and manage the impact and dependencies of new controls to other functions. Make the necessary support transparent to senior management for their prioritization and support. Provide technology expertise and thought leadership with an emphasis on network security. Participate in development of Zero Trust Architecture blueprint, ensuring it includes a comprehensive network security view, data flows and access control mechanism. Lead the integration of IAM framework and Network segmentation strategy. Develop a comprehensive approach for network security that integrates security services with network edge and secure access to application and data. Develop a point of view paper to enforce network security policy management by utilizing third party vendor products. Produce an actionable roadmap to achieve future target architecture covering changes on people, process and technology. Recommendation on changes on the policy, procedure and process. Comprehensive architecture for a Network Security Policy Management with multiple (1-2) Zero Trust Security product vendors. Skills and Qualifications
Experience in Network Security initiatives and programmes. Strong background within the financial service. Strong knowledge/experience in the following key areas:
