I am currently working with an Insurance client in London who are looking for Network Security Engineer to join their team. The aim of this role will be to maintain network and security standards, provide support to the production environment, and ensure the proper implementation and enforcement of network and security policies and practices across the organisation.

Hybrid, London Responsibilities: Monitor and optimize network performance, resolving issues promptly to maintain security and functionalities Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure, encompassing WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and annual penetration tests, leading remediation efforts and related projects. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and annual penetration tests, leading remediation efforts and related projects. Troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations. Skills and Experience: Knowledge of Firewalls, SD-WAN technology, Viptela, Cisco Umbrella, and strong routing & switching experience. Hands-on experience with various vendors and network hardware and software, such as (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.) Strong technical knowledge of security network devices, and any other security networking hardware or software tools. Azure experience, cloud and networking concepts.
