The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a consultancy position with focus on traditional, advanced and emerging network solutions. You'll work as part of a team or as the engagement lead with experience in multi-cloud networking, SASE, datacentre networking, network simplification, automation, observability and application networking and a strong understanding and alignment of security as it relates to the previous technology areas. Computacenter is experiencing high growth across all our networking technology services and the position will suit a candidate that enjoys a fast moving and varied role, working into enterprise customers that require the definition and delivery of advanced technology solutions. What you’ll do: Attend Customer opportunity/strategy meetings to understand and articulate business and technical strategy for the company and customer. Provide qualification of designs or opportunities. Work closely with Vendors/Partners to keep up to date with current and future technologies, products and strategies to manage the ‘cradle to grave’ solution provisions cycle. Act as a Design Authority for nominated key accounts. Act as Technical Authority and lead for complex, enterprise-scale, mission-critical customer projects. Work closely with peers and SMEs to create solutions for Computacenter customers. What you’ll need: Network automation and orchestration. Security compliance integration and performance optimisation experience. Proven expertise in multi-cloud architectures and technologies, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) implementations, automation, and network transformation. Experience working with multi-cloud environments (including public cloud providers, cloud brokers and multi-cloud connectivity) and designing network solutions spanning multiple cloud providers. Strong understanding of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) principles and architectures. Proficiency in network automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Python scripting. Experience with network transformation initiatives, including legacy network modernization and migration to cloud-native architectures. Cisco Certified CCNP or CCIE. Fortinet Certified FNCSE. Zscaler ZTCA. AWS Certified Solutions Architect. Azure Solutions Architect Expert. F5 Distributed Cloud. Certification in network automation tools or programming languages: Ansible. Terraform.
