Role Are you enthusiastic about Networking? You’ll join a fast-growing ISP as the very first network engineer, carving out a unique and influential position. Reporting directly to the Head of Networks, you’ll initially offer valuable support. Yet, as time progresses, you’ll transition to spearheading the networking division, becoming the go-to expert in a leading telecoms provider catering to B2B services, from fibre to leased lines and IP solutions. You’ll be empowered to configure, diagnose, and support a range of networking tools, working directly with high-profile contracts and playing a pivotal role in the company’s continuous expansion. You’ll have the opportunity to obtain your CCNA certification while already working, blending learning with real-world application. You’ll collaborate with an enthusiastic team, immersing yourself in a vibrant and forward-thinking office environment, right in Huddersfield. As part of a telecoms provider serving B2B businesses, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering state-of-the-art services such as fibre, leased lines, and IP connectivity, driving growth in the wake of recent contract successes. Responsibilities: You’ll provide 2nd line support for leased line connections, data centre connectivity, and SD-WAN solutions. You’ll configure routers and VoIP handsets while swiftly diagnosing network queries. You’ll collaborate with a diverse IT, DSL, and broadband team, focusing on circuits, leased lines, and ADSL. You’ll engage directly with resellers and direct customers, addressing their distinct networking requirements. Minimum Requirements: LAN/WAN experience. CCNA certification (or actively working towards it). Proficiency in Cisco Meraki. Ambition and enthusiasm to grow within the networking field. Apply here if you’re interested!
