Chelson Meadow Permanent 37 hours per week Grade D (£25,992 to £28,624) per annum N478 Network Technician - Role Profile An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join Plymouth Highways. We are looking to recruit a Network Technician to play a key role in the Network Management Team in Highways, whose function is to ensure all street work and network activity is planned, inspected, processed, and carried out in accordance with regulations. The post holder will process applications for activities on the public highway, send enforcement notices, deal with customer enquiries and complaints, and raise invoices as laid out in the Highways Act 1980. The successful candidate must be customer-focused, a naturally confident communicator, who is enthusiastic and thrives in providing an exceptional level of service at all times, preferably with previous experience within a highways environment. Decision making and the ability to work to tight timescales are very important parts of this role. We are a flexible employer and provide a variety of working arrangements tailored to the needs of each role.
