Network Training & Development Specialist

at the Volkswagen National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will engage and support the Volkswagen Group UK Ltd retailer network through proactive communications, in order to promote the National Learning Centre training offering and to drive focus on utilization of training courses. Key Responsibilities Be a specialist in all VWG qualification paths to effectively advise the network, ensuring optimum engagement on training offerings. Operate flexible contact methods to support efficient utilization of training events. Identify opportunities by using initiative to develop and deliver the most effective means of engagement within the VWG network. Establish positive relationships with training and development stakeholders within the VWG network in order to promote proactive planning of training engagement. Escalate network challenges through appropriate channels back to contract. Take ownership of identified network challenges through to final resolutions. Work closely with the delegate support team to resolve inbound queries as required. Work closely with the planning and scheduling team by sharing network insight and SME knowledge, in order to support effective planning and scheduling. Build relationships with SMEs within other internal departments and attend meetings where requested to support new tactics or projects. Operate as network advocate and voice within the contract by sharing insight through constructive feedback where applicable. Operate from the office with travel within the UK to the retailer network where appropriate. Be a positive ambassador for the contract both internally and externally. Undertake other such duties as may be reasonably requested. About You Strong commercial understanding of the automotive retail network. Experience of working in a customer-focused environment. Ability to motivate and positively influence others. Proven track record of working towards and achieving contractual targets in line with company objectives. Experience of working independently and within teams. Possess a passion for learning and development of others. Must be flexible with travel within the UK to VWG retail network as required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. An articulate and diplomatic communicator who can create and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders at different levels. Resilient and persistent with a solution-focused and positive approach to challenges. An organized individual who can easily multi-task. Assumes responsibility and accountability for own actions and those of the team. A completer-finisher who can take tasks and projects on and see them through to successful outcomes. Attention to detail with a consistent focus on quality of work. Experience of using a Learning Management System. A proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Connect. Salary & Benefits Up to £35,000.00 pa dependent on experience plus car allowance of £328.50 per month (Total £3942 pa), 25 Days Paid Annual Leave. Employment The successful candidate will be employed by Calex UK (www.calexuk.com). Calex are a specialist automotive training provider and provide training staff and expertise including Trainers, Developers, Digital Learning Experts, and Administrators to Volkswagen Group UK. The successful candidate will join an established team, at the VWG National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes. Visa Sponsorship Although Calex UK is on the register of Worker and Temporary Worker licensed sponsors, there is not an opportunity to sponsor for this specific role. Place of Work VWG National Learning Centre, Wymbush, Milton Keynes. We currently operate hybrid working with at least 60% of time in the National Learning Centre with the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely. Time spent in the office may change. There will also be times when it may be necessary to work from alternative locations, e.g. VWG facilities and retailers, and other sites as necessary to perform the role.
