Network Vendor Manager

to join Reach, acting as the primary point of contact between our organisation and network technology vendors. Reporting to the Head of Platforms, you will manage relationships to ensure the highest performance levels, service quality, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a blend of account management experience, vendor management skills, and technical networking expertise to drive alignment, optimise performance, and ensure seamless coordination between our internal teams and external technology partners. We are looking for a skilled professional to manage vendor relationships, serving as the main contact for communication, issue resolution, and strategic support. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, facilitating smooth departmental collaboration with network engineering, IT, Service Management and procurement teams to ensure vendor solutions align with our network needs and meet company objectives. Your key responsibilities include: Overseeing contracts and SLAs, ensuring compliance, and addressing service-related issues promptly. Monitoring performance on contract compliance and vendor performance against KPIs. Preparing reports to support leadership decisions regarding possible renewals and continuous improvement. Escalating any concerns to maintain quality standards. Proactively managing risks related to vendor relationships to ensure network stability and security. Analysing vendor costs to optimise spending and identify cost-saving opportunities. Qualifications

The ideal candidate is experienced in network account or vendor management focusing on technical services, with a strong understanding of network technologies, protocols and infrastructure components (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPNs). You have proven expertise in managing third-party vendors, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and ensuring SLA compliance. Strong problem-solving skills for proactive issue resolution are essential. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting is essential for evaluating vendor performance and supporting decision-making. Effective communication of complex technical information to various stakeholders is also required. Preferred qualifications include: Familiarity with IT service management tools & ticketing systems. Prior experience in telecommunications, managed network services, managed service providers, or cloud infrastructure. Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CCNA, ITIL, Vendor Management Professional). Additional Information
