We are currently looking for a specialist Neurological Occupational Therapist for one of our private clients based in South Wales.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist that is interested in a full-time placement (37.5 hours per week); we may be able to consider part-time hours for the right candidate!
This role will require the right candidate to work within a neurorehabilitation service, providing care and treatment for people with an acquired brain injury (ABI) or traumatic brain injury (TBI), including stroke, while offering continuing care for people with progressive neurological conditions (PNCs), with behaviours that are challenging to manage in non-specialist settings.
Our aim is to enable people to transition to longer-term community care.
Responsibilities:
Provide care and treatment for patients with ABI or TBI. Work within a neurorehabilitation service. Support individuals with PNCs.
Requirements: Previous experience working in a Neurological setting is essential. Excellent communication skills. Commitment to team working. HCPC registration. Right to Work without any restrictions.
