We are looking for an Occupational Therapist that is interested in a full-time placement (37.5 hours per week); we may be able to consider part-time hours for the right candidate!
This role will require the right candidate to work within a neurorehabilitation service, providing care and treatment for people with an acquired brain injury (ABI) or traumatic brain injury (TBI), including stroke, while offering continuing care for people with progressive neurological conditions (PNCs), with behaviours that are challenging to manage in non-specialist settings.
Our aim is to enable people to transition to longer-term community care.
Responsibilities:
Provide care and treatment for individuals with ABI or TBI. Assist in the management of challenging behaviours in non-specialist settings. Support individuals with progressive neurological conditions. Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications: Previous experience working in a Neurological setting is essential. Excellent communication skills. Commitment to team working. HCPC registration is required.
