It is essential that candidates have a background in an educational setting. We require individuals who exhibit a dynamic, inspirational, and enthusiastic approach to teaching, coupled with a genuine passion for the subject matter. Furthermore, candidates should demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff effectively.
Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in business, business administration, or a related field, in addition to a Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE). While prior experience in team management and knowledge of self-evaluation strategies to identify strengths and areas for development in both the subject matter and staff is preferred, it is not considered essential.
As the Head of Business, it is imperative to prioritise tasks effectively whilst adhering to the core ethos of the school. You must ensure that your team aligns with these principles.
