24WD84014 The New Business Sales Representative

is a field-based role responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities with customers who are new to Autodesk's product suite. You will actively prospect for new opportunities, leveraging leads qualified by the Sales Development team. Your goal is to convert these opportunities into successful business projects that drive customer satisfaction and contribute to Autodesk's business objectives. Our New Business Team will concentrate on greenfield accounts, acquiring completely new customers across various industries. This means you will be at the forefront of expanding our reach and driving growth in uncharted territories. We support hybrid working, and you will report to the Senior Director, Field Sales. Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Implementation:

You will develop and execute territory-specific plans to expand the customer base in untapped markets. This includes a deep understanding of customer needs, demonstrating product benefits, and effectively closing deals.

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

You will find and engage new customers through a variety of channels including inbound leads, networking, and social media. You will be responsible for lead generation and nurturing prospects through the sales funnel to achieve higher conversion rates.

Managing Customer Relationships:

You will make initial contact with potential customers, identify their needs, and customize solutions specifically for them.

Collaboration with Internal and Partner Teams:

You will collaborate with internal teams including customer success and marketing to ensure a cohesive customer experience. You will work closely with channel partners to maximize customer value and engagement.

Market Analysis:

You will keep abreast of industry trends, market activities, and competitors to pinpoint opportunities.

Qualifications:

3-5 years experience in direct sales in a SaaS environment.

Business fluency in English and ideally French or German.

Effectively use chosen sales processes, tools, and methodologies including Salesforce or similar CRM for strategic decision-making, forecasting, performance monitoring and reporting to leadership.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Collaborative approach to working with various internal and external stakeholders.

Salary transparency:

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on discretionary annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock or long-term incentive cash grants, and a comprehensive benefits package. Diversity & Belonging:

We take pride in cultivating a culture of belonging and an equitable workplace where everyone can thrive.
