As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will have a diverse and varied role. Here are just some of the things you’ll be getting involved with: Analyse financial information to enable business profitability and growth Prepare journal entries for month-end and year-end journals Produce accurate management reporting to support key decision making Process payment runs as requested and required Assist with producing:

Statutory and management accounts in line with the group timetable (P&L and Balance Sheet), including variance analysis and commentaries Monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all actions required are clearly documented for review by Head of Finance Year-end audit deliverables including preparation of year-end schedules and completion of audit testing Relevant commercial analysis e.g., margins, pricing and weekly sales

Provide assistance with:

Management of capital expenditure Annual budgeting, reforecasting, and financial planning processes Comply with all financial regulations, including participation with periodic regulatory reporting Adhere to PCI regulations to ensure compliance in accordance with Company policy Maintain historical records according to legislation and TAG procedures

Liaise and collaborate with Finance colleagues across TAG UK and global offices Complete all day-to-day Finance activities in a timely manner and in line with TAG requirements Be involved with ad-hoc Finance projects as required Review accounting practices and suggest improved processes to ensure efficient financial operations Assist with developing, preparing and testing new software and system implementations Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time The How

This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) based in our Manchester office. Since March 2020, we have operated a flexible, hybrid approach to working and will continue to do this moving forward. We will work with you to find the best mix of office and home working that suits your life and the needs of the team. You will report into the Head of Finance, who is based in Manchester.
