Due to the growth and development of their Cheltenham office, the firm is now looking to appoint a Legal Director / Partner to work alongside existing partners, leading a strong, resilient practice, and supervising a talented team of Solicitors. You’ll be a key figure in driving the continued expansion of this highly regarded practice, taking responsibility for developing the firm’s presence in the region. Key Responsibilities: Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including probate, LPAs, tax planning, and estate administration. Lead and mentor a team of junior lawyers, guiding their development and ensuring high standards of service. Actively participate in marketing and business development activities, representing the firm at networking events, presenting at care homes and charity groups, and engaging with local communities to bring in new work. Supervise and manage the team’s caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and work is of the highest quality. Contribute to the strategic growth of the team, fostering strong client relationships and expanding the firm’s reach across the region. About You: 10+ years PQE or equivalent in Private Client law, with a strong background in probate, LPAs, and tax matters. A natural leader, able to mentor and manage a diverse team of solicitors. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while contributing to the overall growth of the practice. Excellent communication and networking skills, with a passion for engaging with clients and the local community. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
