New Product Design Engineer

New Product Design Engineer Our client a leading Engineer company based in Co. Tyrone is in search of a New Product Design Engineer to join their team. They have went from strength to strength over the past number of years and are now looking to add to their existing product range and enter in to new markets. Main Responsibilities: Designing new and developing improvements to the companys existing product portfolio using 3D modelling software. Use CAD design software to create models and drawings of products Liaise with R&D team in the creation/modification of parts and technical drawings Work closely with the wider team in relation to new product development including management, marketing, and production Work closely with Engineering team to design and document new conversions, develop new processes, update production build manuals, and carry out fault findings Implementation of new technologies, manufacturing processes and materials Sourcing and liaising with suppliers of purchased components Follow engineering change control procedure where applicable The successful candidate must have: A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline with 2 years related design /development work experience Strong knowledge of 3D SolidWorks Experience using Microsoft packages Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Team player The successful candidate will receive: Highly competitive salary Company pension Company healthcare Refer a Friend scheme Long Service Awards Career progression Other employee benefits What you need to do now This truly is a great role, if youre interested in this role, click apply now to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV or call Skills: Mechanical Engineering Design Engineer Solid-works R&D
