As a Trust we have faced a number of challenges over the years, but a recent change to our Trust Operating Model means that now is the time to re-shape our services and continue on our journey to excellence. Our hospitals are in the heart of Rural Lincolnshire. Lincolnshire is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has easy access to several coastal resorts. It serves a multicultural community which is both developing and inclusive. The Trust has a strong commitment to improving patient centred services and by working within the nursing family at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals Trust you will have the support from a strong and visible Corporate Nursing team who lead on Quality and Patient Safety. As part of our recruitment campaign, there will be an opportunity to attend an open-session where you can meet the Director of Nursing and her deputy chief nurses, to discuss what the Trust has to offer. If you want to join a team that is committed to making real improvements, then this is your opportunity. Once recruited, we will also make you a commitment to your ongoing professional development through our nursing offer which details some of the opportunities that will become yours when you join our team. Whether you are a Registered nurse in adult, mental health, children's or learning disabilities, come along and chat to us as we may have an opportunity for you! About Us

Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service. United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county. This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations. The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG). Job Description
