Main duties of the job As a Preceptee Nurse, you will be part of the team at Thornford Park, a facility that provides medium and low secure units as well as rehabilitation flats. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized assessment and treatment programmes for patients with mental health conditions, complex needs, and histories of offending. As a preceptee nurse, you’ll work 37.5 hours per week (12 hour shifts) at Thornford Park where you will help people with mental health conditions through their recovery pathway to lead as fulfilling and independent life as possible.

Where you will be working You will work at Thornford Park which is a combination of medium secure and low secure units and rehabilitation flats. The service provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering patients in their recovery and rehabilitation.
You will work alongside the multidisciplinary team to provide personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/complex care needs as well as those with personality disorder. Service users may have histories of offending and/or may have failed in previous placements.
