Main duties of the job
Working full time, you will partake in a programme specifically selected to develop your skills, competencies, and confidence. Throughout this, you will be supported by very experienced managers/ ASYE assessors to apply your social work values to a carefully selected caseload. We will help you develop your knowledge and skills within a nurturing environment, resulting in the development of you as a confident, caring social worker with a robust value base. We will help you develop your knowledge base of the various legislative frameworks concerning ASC, such as the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act. You will be given reflective supervision on a regular basis in order to support your application of theory to practice. You will partake in training, group supervision, and mentoring.
