NHS Estates Manager - Band 8a/Band 8b

Location: Southwest
We are assisting an NHS client in the Southwest to recruit an 8a/8b Estates Manager (dependent on experience) on a long contract basis. The successful candidate will have prior Senior Estates management experience. The client will also accept experienced candidates from any technical background but must be strong operationally.
Key Duties
Daily management and assurance of subcontractors and on-the-ground engineers. Proactive programme management and resolution of issues/risks on an ongoing basis. Management and coordination of planned preventative maintenance. Identify, manage, and escalate risk within the operational delivery of the contract (e.g., unavailability risks, performance penalties, HR issues, non-compliance). Responsible for managing and monitoring the implementation of all compliance issues, including codes of good practice in response to professional and NHS guidance. Lead on the development and implementation of departmental policies and overall strategy.
