Working as a locum Podiatrist provides opportunities for continuous professional development. Duties of the Podiatrist: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' foot health, identifying conditions like ulcers, infections, and other complications, especially in high-risk groups such as individuals with diabetes. Develop and execute individualized treatment plans, which may involve wound care, debridement, and other interventions to manage and alleviate foot ulcers and related conditions. Provide specialized care for foot wounds, including the selection and application of appropriate dressings, monitoring healing progress, and adjusting treatments as necessary. Requirements of the Podiatrist: Qualified podiatrist (Degree or equivalent within Podiatry). Recent experience within podiatry. Registered with the HCPC as a podiatrist to work in the UK. NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential. Skills in High-Risk patient care and ulcer patient care. Able to work independently. Car driver required – able to travel across county as part of the role. Contact:
