Working as a locum Physiotherapist provides opportunities for continuous professional development. Duties: Provide independent highly skilled physiotherapeutic assessment, treatment, and management of an MSK caseload under supervision. Manage patients referred by Consultants, General Practitioners, and other Healthcare Professionals. Work closely with other members of the Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) to ensure the highest standards of care. Use clinical reasoning skills to provide an accurate clinical diagnosis. Formulate, develop, and deliver a specialised individualised treatment programme based upon evidence-based practice. Communicate effectively with patients to ensure informed consent for assessment and treatment. Advise the Medical Officer and/or other rehab clinicians regarding specialist physiotherapy recommendations. Provide clinical reports for other medical professionals and, where appropriate, the military Chain of Command (CoC). Support any relevant audit and research activity. Requirements of the MSK Physiotherapist: Qualified physiotherapist, i.e., Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy. Recent UK experience within specialised physiotherapy.
