Requirements: HCPC Registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the UK. Relevant UK experience, ensuring familiarity with local healthcare practices and patient care standards. A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy that showcases your expertise. Preferably, a car driver to enable greater flexibility and accessibility within Orpington and its surroundings. What you will do: Provide expert assessment and intervention for patients in the acute stroke unit, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to create personalised care plans. Engage in patient and family education to aid recovery and promote understanding of therapeutic processes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans. Contribute to team meetings to ensure high-quality patient care and service development.
