Join us for an exciting locum opportunity as a Band 6/7 NHS Occupational Therapist specialising in General Health in the vibrant town of Frimley, UK. This ongoing position offers a fantastic hourly rate of £27 to £32 per hour. Both full-time and part-time applications are welcome, giving you flexibility in your schedule. You will play a vital role in assessing, rehabilitating, and being part of the discharge process for patients from a hospital setting, while managing a caseload that includes complex manual handling equipment. What you will do: Assess and evaluate patients' occupational therapy needs within the hospital. Develop and deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes to support patient recovery. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate effective patient discharge. Manage complex manual handling equipment and provide the necessary training for proper use. Support the emergency department and general medicine specialities as required, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Requirements of the Occupational Therapist: Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist Recent NHS experience Registered with the HCPC Sanctuary Personnel is a trusted and award-winning agency for roles.
