What you will do: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' occupational needs and develop tailored intervention plans to support their recovery in diverse mental health settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement effective treatment plans using evidence-based and service-user-centred principles. Empower service users by setting realistic goals and promoting their independence through therapeutic activities and strategies. Manage a defined caseload from acute wards, ensuring accurate record-keeping and progress evaluations to inform ongoing care. Provide guidance and support to junior staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery. Requirements for the role: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist is essential. A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy. Prior experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the UK is required. Demonstrable experience in a variety of mental health settings, including acute care, is necessary. Proven ability to manage a defined caseload effectively, using evidence-based and user-centred approaches to drive positive outcomes.
