Working as a locum Podiatrist provides opportunities for continuous professional development. Duties of the Podiatrist: Independently diagnose, develop, and implement individual care programmes for at-risk patients with complex clinical foot health needs. Provide specialist and highly specialized advice for patients. Plan and manage their own caseload, liaising with all parties of the multi-professional team. Signpost lower risk patients to alternative practitioners and enable Tower Hamlets residents to feel empowered to self-manage. Requirements of the Podiatrist: Qualified podiatrist (Degree or equivalent in Podiatry). Recent experience within podiatry. Registered with the HCPC as a podiatrist to work in the UK. NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential. 1-2 years high-risk experience. Previous experience of managing wound care caseloads. Domiciliary experience. Line management experience.
