Night Care Workers

to join our residential service in Romiley, Stockport. The Together Trust is one of the North West’s leading charities, offering individual care, support, and education to hundreds of Children, Young People, and Adults each year. The purpose of a

Night Care Worker

is to work three 10-hour shifts allocated on the rota, which will include weekends. The core tasks include attending to the needs of the children and young adults during the night, some of which have complex health conditions, domestic duties and appropriate record keeping in accordance with legislation and regulation. Another member of staff will sleep in the unit and can be disturbed if there is an emergency. The post holder will be expected to attend staff meetings, supervision, and annual appraisals, as well as attending the Trust’s training courses and those provided in-house, together with a willingness to undertake an appropriate level QCF programme, including working the occasional day shifts to gather the relevant evidence to support the qualification. Hours per week:

30 hours per week worked over 3-night shifts according to the rota (which will include weekends). You must be willing to work unsociable hours during the night and cover annual leave and sickness when necessary. Starting salary:

£18,729.60 per annum with biennial increments. Additional enhancements:

Night Working Enhanced Payment of 25% uplift on hourly rate for hours worked between 11pm and 6am. What can you bring to the team?
