Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency is seeking a calm, nurturing, and experienced Night Nanny or Maternity Nurse to provide exceptional care for a loving family based in Rufford, Ormskirk. The family requires support for their adorable 2-year-old daughter, who has some additional needs with global development delay . They are looking for someone who can ensure her comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the night.
As the Night Nanny, your role will be to create a calm and soothing bedtime routine for the little girl. You will settle her for bed, and use gentle songs or stories to help her fall asleep peacefully. Throughout the night, you will remain awake to monitor her while she sleeps, attending to her if she wakes, providing comfort and helping her settle back to sleep as needed. In the morning, you will assist with getting her up, changing her, and engaging her in sensory play activities to stimulate her development and keep her entertained. During the night, you may also be asked to complete small tasks related to her care, such as light ironing or other small jobs.
We are seeking a nanny who is nurturing, patient, and able to provide loving care for the little girl while fitting seamlessly into the familys routine. You should have prior experience working nights with children, and be a reliable, consistent presence for this long-term position. The family is looking for someone who can bring love and stability into their lives, while offering attentive, thoughtful care for their daughter.
Essential Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Paediatric First Aid certification Non-smoker Excellent references
Salary: Around £18.00gross per hour depending upon experience
