2 posts | permanent contracts | part-time 27.5 hours per week | £19,015 to £20,267 per annum (Grade E) | King’s Lynn Residential Children's Practitioner Level 1 - Nights Marshfields is a Short Break Residential Unit based in West Lynn providing short breaks for children with disabilities and/or complex health needs, aged 5 to 17 years. We are looking to recruit two Residential Children's Practitioners to undertake waking nights to join our stable and experienced team to provide a fun, positive environment. Ideally, you will be a suitably skilled and/or experienced individual and have knowledge of working with children with a diverse range of individual needs. However, we welcome applicants who are caring and demonstrate that they are motivated to work with children to improve and support them to reach their full potential. Some of the young people who access Marshfields for short term breaks may have complex health needs that include gastrostomy feeds, complex epilepsy, and complex medication regimes and may require re-positioning during the day and night. Some children may present behaviour that is challenging. A comprehensive induction process will include full training, and we pride ourselves on developing our staff team.
