Night Shift Patient Care Veterinary Nurse – Grade 5 (Part-time)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the patient care team in our busy state-of-the-art Hospital. You will be part of the nursing team and will be responsible for providing nursing support out-of-hours, serving the ICU, wards, pharmacy, theatre and other areas within the Hospital. You will be a qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant experience, and excellent nursing and interpersonal skills. The Night Patient Care Nurse will be required to work a pattern of 3 nights on duty (11 hours; 12 hours with a break) followed by 6 nights off duty continuously, including weekends, Bank holidays and University closed days. The salary is pro-rata, plus night enhancement and holiday allowance. To ensure consistent cover, you will be required to cover the absences of other night nurses.
