Night Shift Training Coordinator (Relevant Experience Required)

This role is responsible for implementing and overseeing training programs for our production and warehouse environment. Responsible for developing a skilled and knowledgeable workforce, particularly the onboarding and training of new colleagues. You will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs, create training materials, conduct training sessions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs. Manage and support the development of Training Ambassadors.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a team of Training Ambassadors on the shift to ensure that the shift KPIs are met in full and on time. Engaging and developing the team to achieve optimum performance and meet their full potential through performance management. Role modelling the Company’s DNA and ensuring that these are followed by the team. Dealing with day to day queries from Colleagues – liaising with HR, Training Teams as required. Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to identify training needs and develop training programs that align with the company's goals and objectives. Conduct training sessions for new and existing employees, utilising a variety of training methods. Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. Maintain training records and documentation, including attendance, evaluations, and training completion reports. Provide support and guidance to training ambassadors, promoting a positive and collaborative learning environment. Monitor and review the sign off process of the safe system of work documents. Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained. Undertaking basic problem solving activities and escalating to the Training Lead where necessary. Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions. Leading or being involved in ad hoc projects as and when required. Championing key Company strategies; initiatives – eg: Colleague Happiness Surveys; Diverse & Inclusive working; Colleague Wellbeing. Any other responsibilities or duties which would be reasonably expected as part of this role.
