As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital leadership role in our care team, ensuring that our residents receive top-quality care and support throughout the night. You will oversee the night staff, manage care plans, and respond promptly to any issues, ensuring the safety and comfort of all residents. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the night care team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained. Assist residents with personal care needs, including toileting, dressing, and mobility. Conduct regular checks on residents, ensuring their safety and well-being. Administer medications accurately and in accordance with care plans. Maintain detailed and accurate records of care provided. Address any immediate health concerns and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals as needed. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents during the night. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the care home. Respond swiftly and effectively to call bells and emergency situations. Requirements: Previous experience in a senior care assistant role or similar position within a care home setting. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it). Medication Trained Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and committed to providing high-quality care.
