We’re looking for a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join an exceptional team. This role offers a unique work-life balance, with 7 nights on and 14 nights off rotation. With ample time to dedicate to patients and their owners, you’ll play a crucial role in providing top-tier care. Exciting developments are underway, including the installation of a CT scanner, making us the first practice in the area to offer this advanced diagnostic capability. Our comprehensive facilities include laparoscopy, endoscopy, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and a full lab, among others. Continuous professional development is actively encouraged with opportunities for fully funded certificate studies in various specialties. Salary and Benefits: Relocation package provided. Develop treatment plans and provide client education. Prescribe medication and administer vaccinations. Provide guidance and mentorship to support staff. Ensure compliance with ethical standards and policies. Maintain accurate medical records. Your Skills and Experience: BVetMed or equivalent qualification. RCVS registration. Strong surgical skills and knowledge of anaesthesia protocols. Compassionate care and strong communication skills. Proficiency in diagnostic equipment usage. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Critical thinking skills for diagnosis and decision-making. Commitment to ethical veterinary practice.
