2024-10-18 On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Night Warehouse Manager for a food distribution company. Fast-paced, challenging environment enjoys leading a team to success and is passionate about delivering high-quality service to both internal and external clients. As a Night Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the night operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods in a multi-temperature environment. We're looking for a motivated leader with a continuous improvement mindset, and someone who is hands-on and ready to implement new strategies to enhance productivity, team performance, and overall efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the night shift warehouse team, ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of the goods. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality control throughout the warehouse. Oversee stock management, ensuring accurate stock rotation, replenishment, and inventory control. Manage loading and unloading processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and timely deliveries to customers. Work closely with internal departments, including HR and operations, to manage staffing, performance, and operational improvements. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the team's success and drive continuous improvement. Handle workforce management, including shift scheduling, performance reviews, and resolving staffing issues. Maintain compliance with food safety, health & safety, and industry regulations. Ensure the team is fully trained and compliant with all warehouse procedures and best practices. Drive improvements in warehouse operations, identifying areas for efficiency gains and implementing changes. The Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Team Leader, or Supervisor in a warehouse or production. Strong leadership skills with the ability to meet deadlines and exceed targets. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing people and handling HR processes. IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. Experience operating MHE, Counterbalance, and Reach trucks (desirable). Benefits:
