About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable
CNC Laser Operator
to join our manufacturing team on the night shift in Wombourne. The successful candidate will operate tube laser cutting machinery, ensuring the accurate and efficient production of parts. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to high-quality production standards. Key Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, and operate tube laser cutting machines according to production schedules and specifications. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise cutting. Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy and efficiency during operation. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary documentation. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of materials and equipment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow. Requirements Proven experience as a Tube Laser Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing/engineering environment. Strong understanding of laser cutting processes and machine operation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure accuracy. Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance. Forklift license (preferred but not essential). Flexibility to work night shifts and overtime as required.
